Fergus Sticks Around

— a little longer.

Afternoon:

Evening:

Night:

— but this time no drama.  Just Fergus, slowing down time and getting very very calm. Bugsie isn’t really too impressed.

Here he is, slowing down and getting calm.

About nadbugs

Anita loves cats. This must be because she, too, has had nine lives. She’s been dancing since she could walk, she was a commercial artist and advertising producer, she earned a third-degree black belt in Aikido, she is a drummer with the Afrique Aya Dance Company, she is an attorney, and she’s a meditator and a devoted student of Nonviolent Communication. She also spent one lifetime sidelined with a devastating back injury in 1992. Since then – FELDENKRAIS METHOD® to the rescue. The FELDENKRAIS METHOD is all about dreaming concretely – thinking intelligently and independently by way of a gracious and kind physicality. The work affords all who study it a process by which to reach, with movement, into the mind and the heart, to make nine lives into one whole being.

Don’t you just love little pink cat noses and toes… Especially when the cat is out for the count, I always want to poke my little finger up between the toes. Just a bit of revenge for all the times I’ve been woke up by a cat paw on my cheek.

  2. nadbugs says:

Dear Wazeau, if I were really to come clean about my catpaw-fetish — my “problem,” as it’s referred-to in self-help circles — you might not want to be reading me any more.

  3. kimmo says:

Love those paddy-paws!! Did Fergus leave yet? We learned nothing more about him.

    • nadbugs says:

I know, about the paws. I try to be open-minded, for all cats out there, but I can’t help myself — I *have* to go with pink. Fergus did hop off away, shortly after I took that “night” pic. Now I miss him! Go figure.

  4. Melanie says:

I love pictures of sleeping cats. They look so deceptively innocent!

  5. Rumblepurr says:

Ohhh, the tiny pink nose!! SQUEEE!

  6. Oh, man, the pink gets our mom, too! Right after she adopted Zoe, all she could think of when she would look at her face was “ooooh, those pink lips and that pink nose!!!!!”. It still gets her, but not quite as bad now.

  7. Eleanor says:

A gorgeous photo at the end there. And Fergus seems to want to move in…or does he just like taunting Bugs?

    • nadbugs says:

I love it when the photos have that certain je-ne-sais-quoi. Yes! like yours, all the time. As for Fergus — I’m not sure what he likes. He has this reptilian — coldness? Independence? A quality of hey, I’m here doing my thing. Like it or not, all the same to me. He’s gone again.

      • Eleanor says:

All the time? Thank you, I do try to keep the quality of my photos up but I know they’re not all great. Sometimes I’ll post an iffy one just because it’s amusing.

Fergus looks like he’s smiling, so whatever he came for (a change of scene, a quiet place to think and ponder?), I think he found it.

  8. nadbugs says:

Well, looks like all the time to me — I haven’t seen any “iffy” ones! I love them all.

Cute idea about Fergus smiling. He does look that way, doesn’t he.
