Two posts on the same day but I can’t resist. I’m so happy. Bugs is curled up at my feet, home and safe. The weather — for the first time in living memory — is absolutely spectacular. On the Labor Day holiday.
In honor of persons who work — enjoy Bugs.

Did you ever see such magnificent whiskers?

About nadbugs
Anita loves cats. This must be because she, too, has had nine lives. She’s been dancing since she could walk, she was a commercial artist and advertising producer, she earned a third-degree black belt in Aikido, she is a drummer with the Afrique Aya Dance Company, she is an attorney, and she’s a meditator and a devoted student of Nonviolent Communication. She also spent one lifetime sidelined with a devastating back injury in 1992. Since then – FELDENKRAIS METHOD® to the rescue. The FELDENKRAIS METHOD is all about dreaming concretely – thinking intelligently and independently by way of a gracious and kind physicality. The work affords all who study it a process by which to reach, with movement, into the mind and the heart, to make nine lives into one whole being.
Bugs! NEVER let your Bean know how you twisted out of your jacket, that’s a Deep Secret just for Cats. We’re glad you see base camp as home, though…it IS a nice place to rest your whiskers.
Yeah. I tried to do it so fast she couldn’t see, so I guess I need to amp it up even more. I’ll work on it. And home? it’ll do. The whiskers *are* good, if I say so myself. –Bugs
I’m glad to hear that Bugs is safe and sound after his misadventure, and is happily curled up at your feet. I do sort of envy you for having good weather today, though! And those -are- some awesome looking whiskers.
Oh I do wish I could send some of this brilliant crispness your way. And wouldn’t it be something, to have those things coming out of the sides of our faces? Cats are just too much.
He is a beauty! Up here -torrential rains, like monsoon season. Soggy, soggy, soggy!
Wow, Anya. Here it was so pretty today — but still not the rain we need so badly. Watch for a picture showing what a brutal summer this has been down here, coming up. And we didn’t even see the worst of it. I hear Texas and West Oklahoma really got hit hard. Here, trees have died. . . . So — enjoy the rain? If possible?
they are very nice whiskers, I am still grow’n mine;)
You go Jimmie! You are such a superstar, we can’t wait to see what you grow into.
wow, bugs sure has grown. He looks like a fierce hunter man in this pic! It must be all the crunchy interactive treats and outside adventures.
This is what his publicist would have you believe. The photographer was instructed to shoot from under, to emphasize this impression. The truth? Coming up soon. Little baby Bugzy. What a cutie. Not so fierce after all. More asap.
He does have some mighty fine whiskers. Happy Mo Cats Day Bugs!
And the same to you, too, Julia! Wonderful to read about your gotcha story. Yay.
