Great Day In The Morning

The lovefest continues, on the bench I moved from Base Camp into the east window.

This ended in a tussle, both cats falling off — but it was a gentle landing.  Bugs is back there now and Fang’s grooming next to me.

How bout that pinkness.

About nadbugs

Anita loves cats. This must be because she, too, has had nine lives. She’s been dancing since she could walk, she was a commercial artist and advertising producer, she earned a third-degree black belt in Aikido, she is a drummer with the Afrique Aya Dance Company, she is an attorney, and she’s a meditator and a devoted student of Nonviolent Communication. She also spent one lifetime sidelined with a devastating back injury in 1992. Since then – FELDENKRAIS METHOD® to the rescue. The FELDENKRAIS METHOD is all about dreaming concretely – thinking intelligently and independently by way of a gracious and kind physicality. The work affords all who study it a process by which to reach, with movement, into the mind and the heart, to make nine lives into one whole being.

It would take a MIRACLE to get Parker and Mr SP to do that – and bear in mind, they’ve been sharing a home for more than a decade! What ever you’re feeding them, it’s working wonders!

So adorable!!! I think its all good progress 🙂

  3. Wazeau says:

Looking good! Love that pink tongue-bath in the middle of all the sunshine.

  4. Ivy says:

Ha ha, what a beautiful close-up shot! I’m fully enjoying it.

  5. I think Fangie is the best thing to ever happen to Bugs…I’m so happy you got him a buddy! They are becoming quite the couple.

  6. Christine Haller says:

My heart is filled with joy, and my mind with ease seeing these glorious photos! Yippee!!!

  7. Love it! They look like brothers from birth. And yowza, what a bright tongue!

There is really nothing sweeter than a cat who has a cat.
    Lovely photo too!

That’s fantastic! Seriously. I’m with minlit – Charlotte has been with us for 3 1/2 years, and I’m fairly certain the other cats have never been allowed that close to her without receiving the Paw of Doom. We have resigned ourselves that she will never like other cats.

Thank goodness she tolerates them when they’re not up in her space.

Honestly, I wonder whether I get the credit — or they — or Teresa of Tellington — or Jackson’s Peacemaker essence — or all y’all’s encouragement — or all of the above!

  11. Awwwww great pictures. gotta love cat tongues! Even if it did end in a tussle, that’s still better than a full blown fight fight. I think they’re doing so well because they’re close in age. I think our problem over here is that Star is about 12 years older and doesnt want the fuss of a playful boy. sigh
I love seeing your boys getting to be buddies though!

I think this is a really important point, Andrea. After all, matching energies seems like a central thing to pay attention to. In cats and humans too!

  12. Great job keeping Fangie neat & clean, Bugs! I hope to have a cat to take care of like you some day. Maybe after Kitty kicks the bucket… 😉

In fact, when I see the pictures, it looks like these two are brothers…

Smoochies to the two of them!
