Sunday morning. Looking at pictures of a huge tornado in Kansas. Watching the radar, as the big system inched our way. Feeling a bit on edge.

The Bean was the one feeling on edge, that is.
The boys took things in stride.

Heavy rains, some thunder and lightning — but we were spared the really bad stuff.

About nadbugs
Anita loves cats. This must be because she, too, has had nine lives. She’s been dancing since she could walk, she was a commercial artist and advertising producer, she earned a third-degree black belt in Aikido, she is a drummer with the Afrique Aya Dance Company, she is an attorney, and she’s a meditator and a devoted student of Nonviolent Communication. She also spent one lifetime sidelined with a devastating back injury in 1992. Since then – FELDENKRAIS METHOD® to the rescue. The FELDENKRAIS METHOD is all about dreaming concretely – thinking intelligently and independently by way of a gracious and kind physicality. The work affords all who study it a process by which to reach, with movement, into the mind and the heart, to make nine lives into one whole being.
Pardon my drug addled wits.. (threw back out) but are you all ok now? tornado miss you? everyone safe and purry?
Ooooh Andrea — so sorry about your back!! We totally know what that’s about!! Unfortunately. Feel better soon. We are fine here. Thank Cod.
So glad you’re all ok!
Yep, was waiting from halfway round the world to hear if my dad was OK – glad you didn’t get any of it either!
These near-misses . . . . sobering, to those of us lucky enough this time. And those who got hit . . . . awful.
THey have a saying here, seems appropriate: That put the wind up ya. Means gave you a fright. Glad you’re not being all Dorothied by big winds. D
What an image! I can just feel my eyes bugging out.
Glad you didn’t get caught up with nature’s heavy arm!
Thank you, doctor! That heavy arm . . . reeeeally heavy.
What a relief knowing you are all ok over there! The boys as cute as ever. Have a great day!
Thank you! They are cuteness catonified, aren’t they.
Good to know you’re fine, and safe and sound.
A relief. Thank you. Last year it was the Joplin tornado. Scary.
We’re happy to learn all is well. Purrs from our boys.
And back at you Layla. Especially at Odin, from Fang.
Was going to say something about getting the wind up but was beaten to it! Glad all is ok. Just love your boys xx
Twice as good. Love you too, CAT.
Glad you are all well. Love that last photo – does it not look like both boys are smiling?
It really does, doesn’t it. I had another one where Fangie’s looking at the camera — but this one seemed so tender to me. AWW.

they’ve got the purrfect window seat.
That’s what I had hoped, from the very first. But it actually took Bugsy a while to work up to it. Cats.
