Bugs Makes Up His Mind

Bean’s too discouraged at the moment to write anything meaningful.  Something about an election gone very, very wrong.  Bugs takes matters in hand.

He was on the fence for a while, about which way to vote.

But his decision, once made, caused him no regret.

He’s ready to move on, to new horizons.

Wish the same could be said for Bean.

About nadbugs

Anita loves cats. This must be because she, too, has had nine lives. She’s been dancing since she could walk, she was a commercial artist and advertising producer, she earned a third-degree black belt in Aikido, she is a drummer with the Afrique Aya Dance Company, she is an attorney, and she’s a meditator and a devoted student of Nonviolent Communication. She also spent one lifetime sidelined with a devastating back injury in 1992. Since then – FELDENKRAIS METHOD® to the rescue. The FELDENKRAIS METHOD is all about dreaming concretely – thinking intelligently and independently by way of a gracious and kind physicality. The work affords all who study it a process by which to reach, with movement, into the mind and the heart, to make nine lives into one whole being.

Oh, so sorry that you’re discouraged… I wish I had something bright to say to you but I’m afraid I don’t. I do wish you better days though! Sending you love!

  2. Dianda says:

Maybe Bugs and Fang can cheer you up? 🙂

  3. lahgitana says:

aw, rats, Bean. hope the ride goes fast and you’re back to yourself soon.

  4. Wazeau says:

Love the straddle photo and the wonderful ears and whiskers in the last one. Focus on the cats, humanity, it seems, can strain one’s equilibrium if it gets too much attention.

    • nadbugs says:

See, this is why our blogs are so wonderful. Focus on the cats and equilibrium is more of a possibility. And I’m so glad you liked the pictures. I was lucky to grab the straddle one — almost missed it, as you may be able to see. And the ears & whiskers! Aiee.

  5. CATachresis says:

Bean, just stick your nose in a bundle of fur and let the stress fall away xx

  6. Maybe I’m too far away – maybe I shouldn’t ask what election?

    • nadbugs says:

The Arkansas presidential primary, plus other judicial races and a mass-transit proposal. The presidential one was a non-issue — but one of the judgeships and the mass-transit initiative were extremely important to me, both politically and personally, and I grieve the losses keenly. I recall the feelings you wrote about not too long ago, about doubting that you & iDJ really belonged. Same for me, now. Thank you for asking. Never too far away for comfort.

  7. We’re sorry you’re down. I know what it’s like when you’re sure an election should go one way and it goes the other, it’s like “what? what world am I in?” and it stinks.
We suggest kitty therapy, lots of furry snuggles cuddles and play time because watching kitties playing is the best stress reliever!

  8. I’m so sorry that the elections didn’t go well. I know how you were looking forward to them.

I’m with everyone else. Kitty therapy and snuggles are the way to go. I know it doesn’t help with everything, but it sure can lift the mood.

    • nadbugs says:

Thank you so much for your well-wishing. As of now mood is — well, let’s say swinging wildly a bit. But I’ll take that, over the way this thing felt at first. Meh meh meh. Better now, thanks to you.

  9. That sucks. We send purrs for a happy long weekend!

Decisions are sometimes really tough. For example, what to do when moving upwards is no longer possible? http://cicanaplo.blog.hu/2010/02/03/nosztalgia_1_a_hegymaszo
