Hello bipeds, Bugs here. Bean is off somewhere banging her skull against topics like “health-don’t-care” and my having thrown up my breakfast again this morning. Despite her best efforts at chunking things down for me, literally may I say and more details than that I’m not pleased to divulge. She does her best, but I have bested her so far on this one.
So the best-practices policy I’m adopting is: Leave her alone for the present moment. I’m happy with my watered-chicken-babyfood-and-slippery-elm, and we’ll just park it right there for now. I’m sure she’ll be back at you soon enough.
So I’ll just quick post this and then get back to my .75% daytime nap. Here is the next installment of . . . .
Bugs & Bean
Bewildered explains that this is Page No. One, of possibly four more to come. I myself am especially pleased because this catches me at one of my proudest moments.
For Bean’s verbiage on the backstory, click here. And if you’d be so kind as to run over to bewildered and drop him a line, I’m sure he’d appreciate that. Tell him I sent you.
Headbutts —Bugs
Heys, Bugs boy! I went over and subscribed to Daniel’s blog.
I love this! Totally want to see the next 3 comics.
I shared on his blog that I found this comic to be really funny but also a little scary. If I ever come home to something like that with my 2 cats, I’ll be scared out of my mind, I’m certain.
Please send hugs to your bean on my behalf, will you?
Oh Ivy, not to worry. This was Bugsy at large, before he came home. Once he got here, he only had one accident I recall before he was perfectly box-happy. Whew!! Talk about
luckintelligence. Right, Bugsy. Intelligence. Luck had nothing to do with it. And thank you so much, Ivy, for the hugs. They are needed! and gratefully received. You are kind.Oh, now I get it! The page no. 1 is about the exact moment when you found Bugsy! I see, I see… What an interesting coincidence for me: I read those first posts of yours recently, and now there’s a nice illustration to the story. Great! 🙂
Enjoying this.
Bugs! What is with you only addressing bipeds?!? Trying to communicate with them will surely turn your stomach. I do love the comic, though! I knew you would become famous! You got the brains and the cuteness, my friend!
Why thank you, JhaJha oh Petite one. You are sweet with
the complimentsnoting the obvious. And I keep forgetting that, about trying to communicate with the bipeds. Thank you for the reminder.hahahhahahahaah eye-watering morning! hahahahhaaah!
Hugs to Bean, lots of ’em! Hang on!
Thank you, lahg. Hugs to you too. Lots.
Wow! what a beginning! To what has become a beautiful relationship! I’m so glad you stopped and decided to keep Bugs!! And, uh… I think I see how he got his name.. MOL!
He sure landed in the right place though! Happily home with a loving mommy and a new pesky, yet loveable, brother!
Oh boy, Andrea. Me too! It was the best the best the best. And BTW — the flies are not quite it. For an explanation of the real thinking behind the name, please see https://catself.wordpress.com/2010/11/27/hello/
I can smell those piles!!! 😉
I tell you, CAT — it was stunning. But seriously, poor little guy — I wonder what they were feeding him. Mope. Really sad. Annnyway — it’s in the past now.
It looks really promising!
Bewildered is brilliant.
Hi nadbugs I got your comment over on my blog and i agree with you but how do you want me to implement that panel. On the second page? On the first page? Can you tell me where on either of those pages?
