. . . it’s hard to find words for what’s going on over here. In the U.S.A. I’ve been devoting so much time to the political situation that this blog has unfortunately taken a back seat. But I can’t let a year pass without a post dated March 4th, my birthday.
Barney says hi to you all.
Bugsy isn’t saying much today. Over the past few months he has had a resurgence of his allergy and health issues (skin, vomiting). We have embarked on a truly strange program with a vet in California, whom we found through Dr. Jean Hofve. It seems to be helping. I took this picture around a month ago, and since then his ears have much improved.
Here he is looking better.
And here is a snap of some ducks I’ve been feeding lately.
With kind regards to all.
Anita loves cats. This must be because she, too, has had nine lives. She’s been dancing since she could walk, she was a commercial artist and advertising producer, she earned a third-degree black belt in Aikido, she is a drummer with the Afrique Aya Dance Company, she is an attorney, and she’s a meditator and a devoted student of Nonviolent Communication. She also spent one lifetime sidelined with a devastating back injury in 1992. Since then – FELDENKRAIS METHOD® to the rescue. The FELDENKRAIS METHOD is all about dreaming concretely – thinking intelligently and independently by way of a gracious and kind physicality. The work affords all who study it a process by which to reach, with movement, into the mind and the heart, to make nine lives into one whole being.

Happy Birthday, my dear friend! Wishing you all the best and better times ahead.
Happy belated birthday! Bugs does look better, and Barney is as adorable as ever. So glad you have them in your life.
The ducklings are cute, too!
My human is with you on the politics. We keep going to Vancouver and not wanting to come back. Even though we live in in California, which is fighting a lot of what is going on. I’m glad to hear Bugs’ allergies are doing better with the new approach.
and I don’t think the allergy protocol is all that weird – especially if it is working 🙂
Happy birthday dear Auntie Anita…we are sooo happy with our new clicker training….we are getting quite “buff” and sassy to boot!
